Hey yall, I was checking out the arcade one day and i saw my friend playing a game called Initial D. He told me it was based on a Drifting Anime. So I played it and I'm getting into it. I was just wondering if anyone have any tips for that game. And what you think about the game?
 
This game is THE BEST!!! SUPER FUN!!! I like it cause I cant drift in GT and I can drift easily in this game..too bad there arent enough arcade machines on the island. There's only two places with arcade machines and they are always full....Im gonna save up 7k and buy an initial d arcade machine!!!!
 
I actually had the pleasure of playing this game in the arcade over in Naha, and from a drifter perspective I have to say that I love it.

initial D is alright....I liked the anime a lot......the game is fun to a point that u'll get tired of it eventaully.....especially with how they have clearly overpowered car in the game....

like how in version 1, it was the FD and the 86

and now in version 2, it's the DC2 and the GC8V..well, mainly DC2
 
There really isnt an overpowered car cause each car is fastest on certain stages. Like 86 on Akina, FD on Akagi, etc. Oh yeah, version 3 is coming out. Racing in the snow!
 
not really......the DC2 is still dominant on akina....except for the cappuchino....that's the only car that can take out an DC2 on akina

on akagi.....the FD has the upper hand...but if it makes just one slight mistake, a good DC2 driver can take him

and then DC2 owns on happoghara and irohazaka

the GTR's own myogi

and i believe the DC2 or the Sil-80 are neck to neck for usui

GC8V is not one of the best...... the sencond best is the FD.......
 
depends what version you are talking about.....version 2, the GC8v is the best OVERALL i meant......the FD tends to get owned on iro and happo....
 
I know there are Playstation 2 games of Initial D and i know they dont have any PS2 of Initial D sold in the state but do you think they will bring it over to North America?

the best two cars in Version 2 is the Rx-7 and the Dc2..

no accordin to the manger of retail and shipping that came to vegas during the one tournament.... he had told me that he had meet some of the graphic designer for Sega Rosso... he said that the best 2 cars in the game are the Dc2 and the Fd3s..... good drivers can do o.k. in Irro if u kno how to do things....
