initial D?

i watched initial D 4th stage the whole week. and tried something on GT4 i find stuff in intial D is really helpful. just wondering what you guys think.
P.S. is inital D really based on stories of keiichi tsuchiya? (i think he is the supervisor of the show)

Inital D is really quite realistic, and Keiichi Tsuchiya was featured in one of the shows, it isnt based off of his stories, but he was a great race4r who delivered for his ffamily business in an AE86. I often refer back to initial D for tuning, and techniques(look at my sig and avvy)
Some certainly helpful techniques are Kai's left foot mr2 trick, and Takumi's rapid downshift drift. i love inital D.
