When I was 5 I broke my femur(thiegh bone for those young ones who don't know what a femur is) riding my bike in the basement. Me and my bro built ramps with carpet samples, and then we would ramp and ride around to ramp again. On one pass after building a pretty big ramp, my left leg slid off the pedal and went into the front wheel, then when I landed it broke it, spiral style. Hurt like hell, then I had this external fixitor, which was a much better option then a cast, for many months. I'm fine now though, just have 4 little scars from the fixitor.
Then like 2 years ago, I was riding down my street and my friend who lives a block from me had another friend over, and he was also my friend. They were skateboarding, and I was on my bike. So we raced down the hill, I win ofcourse, and I start to go back up, they are ahead of me, so I pedal hard and try to pass them, and the friend that was over grabbed my handle bar not thinking, and I went down and hyper-extended my foot on the ground. I was in severe pain, I was able to make it home by holding my foot outward and pedaling with the other one, and we went for x-rays and stuff, I just sprianed it. What's wierd is that sometimes my foot will "lock up", like a bone is stuck against another one, and it hurts pretty bad, then I have to bend it a cirtain way and I'm ok again. It happens every so often.
Injuries suck.
