Has anyone else seen this, Ken Block doing some Gymkhana practice.

Photoshop.

That is incredible driving. Certainly need skills to do that!

That was amazing, it sounded awesome, and looked amazing. That was great, I loved the drive around the guy on the segway. That was ridiculously precise.

By the way nice VID 'mad', I saw this a few month ago and have shown it to every car mad friend that has walked through my door since, and everyone of them has asked to watch it over again at least once....He's a skilled driver with an intimate knowledge of his car's capabilities thats for sure...:sly:👍

And what a great soundtrack...Gotta love that Boxer Growl.....

I reckon he might have done this a fair few times before the vid came out. Even still outstanding car control and what a great display he gives.:D

EDIT:I just watched it again and I couldn't get the smile of my face. :D

It's called car control !!!!.....err not Photoshop :odd:

Nah. It's actually a photoshop, if you look closely you can see where some background hasn't been erased, around the 3:51-3:53 mark.

So the background has been Photoshop'd ....or for 2 seconds in the vid the Background is Photoshop'd....?

I can't see what your talkin about, maybe I need to wear your glasses...! lol :odd:

The only thing I can see is there is no shadow of the barracade in the above shot, the lead up footage shows sunlight and shadow, so the footage is from another run. Don't know if I'd call it "photoshop" though?

That vid is made up of multiple clips of many attempts, it wasn't done in one shot it was a day of fooling around.

Correct. Read about it in this month's Top Gear Australia Mag. Took him a long time to get it perfect and all the different parts were all done seperately. Still amazing car control to be able to do that.

I do agree the VID is more than likely edited as most are.! And he does look to have come from a slightly different angle out of the previous corner (around the corner of the hanger)...And at the end of the day if you have had completed the run all in one take, or had the ability to perform "that" particular move (or others that are executed) at that moment then it's still a brilliant example of car control in it's own right...:p

yeah it's been on my favourites list for over half a year - I would have posted it if I knew it wasn't already on.

Great isn't it - mind you -you'd need an absolute tank of a car to take such punishment with such power going to all 4 wheels. I really am surprised the chassis didn't twist.

oh.yeah...he's the same guy who did that monumental jump in his WRX(ish) tuned STi
stupid amount of skill

Well, that's to be expected. It would take some ungodly skill to do this whole thing like he did in just one run. Never the less, what he did took some amazing skill.👍

Officially the most reposted video on the internet lol

Good to see again though

Just pointing it out, too many people (including a friend of mine) thought it was done in one run.

Having a day, location and resources to fool around like that practicing, I really don't find it all that amazing.

the segway bit was probably one of the best bits. But i agree with Jay ^^. While i certainly cant drive like that, if i had a day of pracitse on my dirtbike and a good camera man im sure i can put together some nice slides / doughnuts and bike control too.

The video could only have been better if at the end, when parking the car, he would've hit something.

Ken Block is a baller. Not a clue why he used such crappy tires, but I guess maybe they work well for what he was doing.

FYI, that's his own personal car and it's been tested in Sport Compact Car.

It's called sponsorship, Keith... you take what their money gives you.

I know that dummy, but it's still his and it's still a pretty wicked car.

Question though: Does he actually at all or just do stunts?

I don't think the video even pretends that it happened in 1 take. They show you the 4 sets of tires they used - but they never show them changing tires.

I think one of the best things about this vid is they didn't spoil it by playing some crappy music over the top.
