i have searched the forum for an answer but didn't find any. What i wanna know is one of the versions have an in car view cause the one i have doesn't. It has a in front view and a behind view.
Reason i asked this is that i seen on the board someone mentioned inside a car view.:banghead:

I think that was mentioned as a view in replay mode. I think it is a view of the F090/s only but I'm not sure.

I think you're probably right Injected. I've heard them talking about some cockpit view or something on the F1s in Replay mode in which you have to remove the disc or something like that.... I'm not sure too.

Off topic - Nice sig Sage ;)

It is only a view of the F090/s. After the replay starts toggle the view so it is a camera that follows the car... then go through until you can see the hands and steering wheel of the driver.

i think not, i have xp and i've used mac osx extensively and find nothing more annoying. yes it looks VERY nice but it is so 'user-friendly' that it is unsuable.

as for the view system in gt3, thats is one of the major drawbacks. the chase view is too low and too close to the car, and an in car view would rule.

Interesting that you should mention that, because I've found it to be quite the opposite... I hate how XP (or most versions of Windows) try to help you do everything. Granted, OSX is a bit pushy sometimes, but XP is absolutely hellish for me to use.

Eh, if you really want no intervention, then you could just launch the Terminal and go on from there... ;)

Sorry to get off-topic there. I would contribute something to the thread, but I already did several posts above. Ya.

Doesn't the F1 have a camera mounted on top of the thing above the driver's head? I think in the replays sometimes you get views from there.

gotta check that out, real f1 cars certainly have that.

as for the os thing, yes once u remove all the help xp gives u then its much nicer. the so called 'help' drives me mad too, but if ur computer only has one mouse button you can't really argue :D anyway im not dismissing osx its GOOD but i just prefer xp. anyway no more off topic for me heh

i dont think so, but pressing x choses between a camera close to the car and a camera on the track. when on the car, press left and right to choose between cameras and up and down to choose between cars (in a multi-car race)

If you do this to the replay of the F090/s you can see the driver's hands and the steering wheel from the in-car view.

well i tried that but it didnt work on mine. maybe its only on the us version?

Try a long track, like...er...Grand Valley Speedway, maybe Cote D'Azure as well...that should give you a view of the helmet and arms...

That won't help... you have to toggle the view (hit X) to where the camera is stable (like the bumper cam) and then push left or right to move through the different views. You will come across one where the driver's hands and the steering wheel are visible.
