Inside the car photo glitch?

So i didnt give up as easily as i intended. I went through every single track finding the few that had the exact same 21.1C track temp(i found Catalunya, Positano, and Silverstone each had the same temp.)

After i found those tracks i then went to go on and see if one of those tracks had a yellow barrier/fence within 000.3 kilometers of it. Both Catalunya and Silverstone had the described fence within the distance i was looking for. I couldnt find anything to work with on Catalunya, but Silverstone on the other hand had some odd tires that i could fall deep into for some reason(the tires are located at the very left corner of the track if you just go straight till you reach the walls.) So i brought my car close next to both the barrier and the tires, but also tried to keep the barrier on the right of my car like he has it in that first nissan photo. I took photos so i can show exactly how i was positioned

So after i got into position i put my car in first gear, held the clutch(dunno if you have to do this really but i did.)

Now what i did in photomode is, get to the edge of the tires and zoomed in a good amount(now im not really sure if you have to zoom in or not but it seemed to work better.) and moved forward while simultaneously holding the left trigger. That should smash you into the space inbetween the car and the wall, and from there i moved the camera forward and it just popped into the interior of the car. It gets tricky right here though because even though i was pressing forward on the left joystick it wouldnt go in the right direction so i had to just use whatever direction would move it forward.

Its trial and error, but i got it to work.

I could care less if T10 patchs this or not, because honestly id rather the whole community know about it then only one person using it for themselves.

this isn't a mod, trust me, the guy who made these shots is superlegit, by no chance this is a mod.

EDIT:
more of his shots:

Last time i checked, glitch's aren't legit :P Either way pretty cool find. If hes not modding it would be cool to find out how hes doing it.

Looking at the photo's, would anyone be able to guess what track that is in the first pic? Maybe its restricted to a certain track. I tried out a few different things but couldnt get nothing. The car seems to have some kind of magic barrier around it, probably like 1/2ft - 1 ft gap from the barrier to the car so i couldnt even get close enough to really try to get into the car.

well looking at the speedo, the cars are at a standstill when he takes the shots. so you might be on to something..

Yeah he posted that he cant seem to get the glitch to work when the cars moving, over at FM.net. Its hard to make out the track because the backdrop is so common on lots of tracks. Kinda looks like Tsukuba maybe, but i wont be able to try it out till later.

I know these shots are taken from a complete stop, but I don't know where. Ill ask the guy if he is willing to tell us atleast where this is.

edit: he hinted this:
It can be done on one track as far as I know, and you have to understand camera glitches ;)

quote from him:
And you can do it anytime, but you have to be in a certain spot on a certain track, and you have to be in photomode to do it. It's not a height glitch to do it either That's all you're getting out off me.

triple post

but, this time I got a hint by a moderator

Nah, "standing still" is close, but you left out "in 1st gear with the engine off."

what can this mean?

edit: I think it means this is done when you imideatly start a lap, that's the only time an engine is ''off''... anybody know what track this could be on?

EDIT:

another hint:
You folks are way off-base. Think World Tour. Think "run-off." Those areas on tracks are there for a purpose. Sure the pit areas were a good guess, but incorrect.

those 2 are from snowowl, a turn 10 moderator

all the hints again:

these ones are hints too, but not sure if they are for the photoglitch:

There are tracks that have spots of its alternate open to drive on, even if its not part of the course your on. Maybe that what hes talking about?

I believe that last hint had nothing to do with the photo glitch.

This is sooo tricky, and I need to know! :banghead:

But the hint of having to be in first gear with the engine of tells me that you can only do it straight away.......

Or have on simulation damage and completely damage the car so the engine cuts off...

I don't know. This whole bs of dropping hints wanting you to find out for yourself is childish.

If you aren't doing anything that will get you banned then why not share it with the community. It's dumb. I don't have hours upon hours to figure out a Photomode in-car glitch.

Maybe he's a stingy ass that doesn't like sharing with his community? Who knows. I'm not up for an Easter egg hunt to be honest so i doubt ill go any farther with trying to figure it out in game.

If you think about it, the engine isn't off in the beginning of the game. When you start a race it has that little scene when the car revs as it counts down from 3.

Maybe he's concerned that if he reveals exactly how it's done and word spreads then Turn 10 will hear about it and patch it out.

I'd rather them do that to be honest then to sit here playing a guessing game.

There is no time the car is "off." Even if you dont press anything at start, the car is still idling. If a car was off it would be at 0 rpms.

You can stall the car if you have clutch on, just lock the wheels, the rpm hits 0 and then hold the clutch in and the engine wont restart until you press the throttle.

Never noticed the engine bog when using clutch(although i really only used it a couple of times so that could be it.) I know that if you dont press the clutch when you floor it, it will still go nonetheless. If it indeed stays off like you said it does, then maybe thats what they've been doing.

I don't think so to be honest, in one of those shots the tach is reading just under 1k. I think these are taken on tsukuba but I'm not sure where.

Most cars idle under 1k rpm in game. I skimmed around Tsukuba but couldnt find a matching fence. Although it was a quick skim so i could have missed it.

I agree I couldn't find one either :( Motegi speedway has a matching fence but I couldn't find matching barriers.

To be honest this kind of thing is really annoying and people need to grow up and just say rather than enjoying being smarmy 🤬. There's literally nothing to be gained from keeping it secret :irked:

Oh I've just realised that all these tracks have a matching fence:

Catalunya
Hockenheim
Iberain/Camino/Ladera
Indy
Maple Valley
Laguna Seca
Nurburgring GP
Sedona Raceway
Silverstone
Sunset Peninsula
Suzuka
Motegi

That's pretty much most of the tracks in the game :(

The view in car doesnt seem to be level with the track. It seems like its on some sort of slant. I know Nurb' GP has a big hill-ish spot that could probably put a car in that same slant. Also a dead giveaway would be the track temperature, 21.1 c. I have mine set as Fahrenheit so im not sure what that is, someone care to convert it?

Edit: What i dont get is why it says he's doing 1.6g's at 0mph.

Edit#2: I converted the degrees, and in Fahrenheit it comes out to 69.98 F. Unless thats not actually track temp, but is car temp. If thats the case then I'm out of ideas

This is almost like GT5's Premium Lucerne Photomode trick....

umm, I wish I could try around. Maybe after my midterms....
