install error unavoidable?

So I bought a new ps3 to replace Old Fatty...

so with that said I need to install ALL the updates again, and of course I'm getting the install errors.
i have done the 'one install at a time' process with no luck, it has an error somewhere in the process...

so if the one at a time thing isn't working, are there ANY other options to install it all correctly? i'd really like to use the track editor and all that.

You can google it and there are lots of methods. I just got internet on my consoles so I installed all 21 updates at one time and had no problem. It did take a couple days off and on though.
 
Re-Installed GT about 5 times , even changed console when I've install it for the last time about three months ago and luckily never had any error.

Maybe, because I've always choose to install updates through xmb after I've finished main game install> game properties>check for updates.Other than waiting for another 4-5 hours for installation, never had any troubles.
