Installing GT5 to hard drive

If your ps3 is not connected yet to the internet, so you can't get the 1.01 patch, how do you install gt5 to the hard drive.

Does it prompt you when you put the game in or do you have to go somewhere in options.

Can anyone who installed it prior to the 1.01 update say how they did it.

Also if you have the 1.01 update and choose not to install to the hard drive when prompted, how can you then install it at a later time.

If you're not connected to the internet, the game won't know there's an update and will just install normally. When you connect, then it will require you to get the update.
 
what happens however if if asked you to install to the hard drive and you selected no.

How can you at a later time install it to the hard drive?
 
I assume you can install it at any point. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being an annoying "pop-up" that will occur every time you boot up the game until the install is made. As for the updates, as the prior poster said, if you are connected to the internet and the game requires an update, the game won't be able to be played until the update is performed.

Then loading times will be longer, but the game asks you if you want to install every time you fire it up
 
There is also an option in the in-game utilities menu to install it :)
