I have an older Playseat Evolution, bought in 2008). Here's a link to the one I have:
http://www.slashgear.com/playseat-evolution-the-chair-for-racing-game-enthusiasts-106695/

As you can see my foot pedal part has large circular holes (like a magnified mesh plate) not a solid plate with different drilled holes for different pedal sets. The Xbox 360 pedals I used back then were held by Velcro and zip ties as there was no other practical way to connect. It didn't look great, but it was held firmly. The T3PA Pro doesn't seem to have any way to use zip ties (without drilling holes into it) and I don't want to rely on just Velcro. Playseat don't seem interested in returning my calls and I can't find any accessories such as a pedal plate that I could install?
I'm told the TX base unit will mount just fine, but hoping for some feedback on mounting the T3PA pedals. I'm thinking I could either mount on a sheet of wood, or purchase a correctly sized piece of metal (which for aesthetics I could spray with rubberized paint/powder coat type finish) and affix to the pedal area and drill the necessary holes to accommodate the T3PA pedals?
I'm certainly not spending another $700 for an entire new Playseat!
Appreciate any help/feedback.
Thanks.

Hi ,

Not sure if you have seen it but I did reply to the message you sent me yesterday. No need for any extra metal or wood etc. You need to download the pedal template and drill 2 holes so you are able to mount the T3PA on the older playseats like ours :)

With the pedals inverted in GT mode there's only 2 anchor points and they are both wider than the base plate. In normal mode, sure that would have been the easy route with 6 possible anchor points to put M6 bolts in to!
I ended up using a 0.25" thick x 4" wide steel plate, cut to about 12" long to create a new base anchor for the inverted pedals. Took some work but it's solid.
Thanks.
