Whats an X box?
Basically I'm looking for some more non-vocal tracks to increase the number (and variety) of my instumental playlist and reckoned this would be a good place to start.
Current list stands at 40, any suggestions?

My list:
John Petrucci: Glasgow kiss, Damage control
Liquid Tension Experiment: Paradigm shift
Dreamtheater: Stream of consciousness, A nightmare to remember, Ytse jam
Iced Earth: Transylvania
Joe Satriani: The extremist, Always with me, always with you, Back to shalla-bal
Metallica: The call of ktulu, Suicide & redemption
Gary Moore: Parisienne walkways
Duane Eddy: Rebel rouser
Yngwie J. Malmsteen: Baroque and roll, Guitar solo (trilogy suite op 5/spasebo blues)
Eric Johnson: Manhatten
Steve Vai: For the love of god
Anthrax: Pipeline
Man-O-War: Today is a good day to die, Sting of the bumblebee
Slaughter: Days gone by (Acoustic)
Chris Impellitteri: Over the rainbow
Blind Guardian: The piper's calling, Wierd dreams
Apocolyptica: Creeping death
Earl Scruggs: Foggy mountain breakdown
Emerson, Lake & Palmer: Fanfare for the common man
Buckethead: Soothsayer
Ace Frehley: Fractured III
Billy Thorpe: Gypsy, Long time
Vitamin String Quartet: As I am
Richie Kotzen: Richies acoustic thing (Poison's Native tongue album)

Also in this list are: William tell overture, Ride of the valkyries, Dueling banjoes, The top gun anthem, Canon rock.

Will check out any suggestions anybody has,
Cheers

Check out toe too:

Their albums are perfect for early morning bus rides on cloudy days...

Listen to any song from the album Zero Order Phase by Jeff Loomis, especially Azure Haze and Miles of Machines. Also check out On Impulse by Animals As Leaders.

Dream Theater has a disc of Black Clouds and Silver Linings where all the songs are instrumental versions. And try Liquid Tension Experiment. It's an instrumental Dream Theater. And Gary Moore's Parisienne walkways? An instrumental. I thought it had verses. Try The Loner by Gary Moore. Iron Maiden, Losfer Words (Big 'Orra). Metallica, Orion. Dream Theater, Erotomania, Dance of Eternity, Overture, Overture 1928.

I have just about everything from DT and LTE (including the suede LE of Back clouds :D ), I also have a liquid trio experiment album I could use. Will definitely check out some more Gary Moore.

Thanks for the input guys :)

If you want some extremely relaxing instrumentals check out Explosions In The Sky, they are an instrumental band.

I saw Explosions in the Sky live in May when they opened for Arcade Fire. They were great!

I'll check my collection when I get home, but have these 2 for starters.

Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover

Gary Moore - The Loner

EDIT:

Rainbow - Difficult to Cure

Rainbow - Weiss Heim

EDIT EDIT:
Axel Rudi Pell - Sphinx Revenge

Stratovarius - Stratovarius
