as everyone knows, its a wonderful car. but there are still many ways you can drive one. consider these questions:

1) Acura or Honda?

2) What color?

3) Naturally Aspirated or Turbocharged? Does anyone think NA is better? (turbo is clearly more powerful)



the one i drive is the Acura, because its more versatile (can enter stars & stripes), and personally i think the Acura (front lights) look better.

it only comes in yellow or a dull looking black, so i chose the yellow one. it looks
very sporty 👍

i drive mine with the highest turbo you can put on it for the most power, but i was wondering if anyone drives it NA. i tried NA for one race, and it seemed smoother. does anyone feel that the NA version is better?

4) Do you like the last generation Integra or the newer one (RSX)?

personally, i like the integras over the new RSXs, in the same way i still like the EK Civic Type R hatchbacks than the newer EP body style (year 2002 - current). i must admit however that the RSX and new Civic Hatch have grown on me. had it been up to me, i would have bought the 2004 Honda Civic Si hatchback last year. my dad thought it was too small so i had to get an accord coupe, but i guess i can't complain cuz i got it in the manual transmission against my mother's wishes :sly: .

why not have one more:
5) what car would you have gotten if you were me and had $20,000 to spend, but your only limitation being that the car had to be brand new?



i realize that this post is just about preferences, but i would like to hear your thoughts. thanks for reading let us know what you think.
 
1) Honda, it's more powerfull. Besides, I really hate the Acura front lights.
2) White. Whatever.
3) Turbo! The only reason I got this car to begin with is that it's the most powerfull FF. Tuning it NA would kind of defeat that purpose.
4) I don't really like this generation at all, styling wise. The RSX, on the other hand, is beautifull. Not as much power though.

5) o_0 That would suck, I don't really like any new cars. Especially cheap ones. I test drove a 2002 Intrepid a while back. I think it was well under 10k and fully loaded or close to it, pretty nice.
Off-the-floor new cars that come to mind are the Neon and Vibe ('cause it looks better then the Matrix, to me). Civic's are nice, but I'd really rather not join that crowd (no offense).
I would have put a lot of effort into talking my parents into a car one or two years old. You get something almost new for a significantly lower price.
(My car is 20 years old, it cost about 3500$)

Edit: I was going to say Focus, but forgot. Also, it appears that I don't have a very good idea of what cars cost. I just found that Mustangs are f!!!!!! cheap! 25k for a V8? I wonder what invoice is? }: )
 
Acura- its front lights are better...
i prefer turbo... but i cant get it...
yellow- i hate dark cars in games
I like the last generation of integra... it just looks better... the RSX is to big...
 
why is the japanese integra still the old old one, like it went, the japanese one in GT3, then the DC2 thats called an acura in the game, then the DC5, and why isnt it called an integra? and why isnt the DC5 type R there, instead of t RSX type S or what ever. and any way the DC2 integra with the( O O [H] OO )lights was the best integra,
 
1) honda. period. acura's front light is disgusting
2) white or black. doesn't matter :P
3) turbo. period. it sounds better haha
4) older gen. RSX is too "round-y"
5) 20k?!? umm i'd get some the new Civic hatchback. it looks pretty good

3) Turbo, because more power = more FWD wheelspin. 👍
4) I prefer the old Honda style to the RSX style.
5) The MSRP is a bit above $20K (I assume USD), but I'd save a bit more and go for a Celica GT-S. Black, again because of the evil.

no i agree with you , as long as they are HID xenon lights...
 
1) Honda, I don't really like the Acura. Sides, the H looks cooler :p
2) Championship white is the way to go
3) N/A Vtec, just the way it's meant to be
4) The old one. DC2 has more classic feel to it.
5) Good 'ol EK9 goodness :)
 
Thank you... finally someone agrees with me... i just think that the honda integra's lights just look wrong... i dont know why...

tthe honda type R in gt3 is the old old one
it went them then the oo H oo ones, that we got in like 2000 meybe, they were kickass, and now we have the lameass de-tuned DC5 type R
 
Why is everyone acting like the new integra (RSX) is slower than the older ones. people keep saying de-tuned, The new one gets a 2.0 liter making 210 hp. thats 12 more hp than the outgoing 1.8 liter. Sure the specific output is a little lower, (105 hp/l vs 110) but specific output is highly overrated. If you really want to get technical and create a measure of an engines eficiency, (from a performance standpoint) then give me the power to weight ratio of the engine. Yes thats right, how much power the engine produces vs how much it weighs. In that respect the new 2.0L is probably equal or better. so the bottom line is it's a better engine in a chassis one generation newer. that spells improvement to me.

Oh yeah. and their was a minor restyle for the 05 RSX. I dont know weather this will carry over to the integra though. I saw preproduction photos a while back but I havent seen any on the road yet. I think they choped the little round things from the bottom of the headlights and restyled the front bumper a bit. all in all, in the photos i saw, it was perfect. oh yeah, I like the new integra better all around.

4. I like the tuneability of the previous generation, but the DC5's time will soon come
5. I'm going to cheat and say a K20A-R powered EG6 with ITB's :bowdown:

$20k to spend on a new car, Mazda 3s 5-door. Seriously.

I wouldn't recommend new for $20k, though. I spent $14k on a 3-year-old Miata with all the options, in excellent condition. Would've cost $25k new with the options it had.
