Based on a challenge for the ITR started elsewhere I have come up with a little challenge for the truly curious.
We all know that the Japanese versions of the Integra and NSX are better than the US versions.

So, How much would have to be spent to make them equals?

Limit yourself to T5's. (You can mix and match lower grade tires if you like)
Oil change is gratis.
And you can add a race trans also gratis.
You can modify as you like.
You know the cars...
All we need now is a track. How about Cote D' Azur?
Hot laps are the order of the day.
The closest times for the pairs, with the least spent in upgrades is the "winner."
Please also post your stock times as well for comparison.

BTW. This is an open challenge, to be run until the end of time or the release of GT4 (whichever comes first).
And as always we'll stick to OLR rules.
Times and questions to be posted back here.

One more thing
Don't feel obligated to run both cars.
I realize that you have lives. If you can run them both, Excellent. If not also cool.
There are so many cool comps running that this is a mere distraction. Which is exactly what I really want it to be. No pressure.:D

Well,
I may have discovered a "fly in the ointment".
Thus far I have bought the weight redux on the Acura NSX and brought it to a lower P/W ratio than the Honda.
Initial runs have the Honda, with five less HP and slighty more weight per HP to move around lapping the course nearly 3 seconds faster.
Currently, I am only working the power angle. I have both trannies set at the same auto number.
I may have to add suspension tweeks to the Acura to make it as driver friendly as the Honda....
More to follow.
Anyone have better luck with the Acura?
