Wow...that's like the MKI Golf GTI of processor chips! Cheap and fast.

I read the first page then saw there were 45 more and lost interest. Just posting to see if anyone can give a quick rundown on how exactly this works.

Basically they overclocked it and ran some tests. They recommend a high end CPU cooler and fan to keep it cool.

You'd need a motherboard, graphics card, soundcard etc. too.

Wouldn't that CPU only last a couple of years, at best? The whole motherboard would get hot, you'd need cooling all over the place. That must've been a benchmark or something.

It'll probably not last as long as it would were it not overclocked, but really, who keeps their processor for more than a few years anyways?

I have an Athlon 1600+ running at 2.2Ghz right now. It benchmarks faster than 3200+s - It's been running like that for about a year and a half, and it was overclocked just not quite as high before. 100% stable.

It's pretty neat though. I want a 4Ghz CPU.
