Interactive Racing

Rally racing is the only interactive racing. I don't know of any other racing were people help the drives when they spin or ditch the car. Rally fans are a little crazy though.

Yeh, a recent example in the British Rally where some fans helped McRae out of a ditch. Great to see the fans helping out the drivers

ya I saw that and thats what made me think of interactive racing.

I don't think there has really ever been a round where a driver has been stuck with fans around him where they haven't tried to help the drivers out.

There was one time (not sure about the rally, acropolis maybe, but it happened this season), where a wheel came off the car and started rolling away and the fans just watched it.

But like football fans they can get in the way and cause havoc. It really upsets me when fans act violent or too exhuberent.

Yes, like when they have to cancel some of the stages because the fans go on the track

I've seen rallies a couple years ago where fans moved the directional barriers to send a perticular driver off course. Not into danger, or anything, but off the stage to ruin his time. That was crappy behaviour.

If I was the driver, I would have turned around and ran them over, even if it did waste my time
