I'm testing some cars for a series but before I go further with testing I want to now if people are interested. The cars used will be cars that aren't in any racing series that I know of.
I am no fan of the pp system so I have spent alot of time testen cars with same hp and kg rating. I did take pp in consideration. The cars all are limited to 300 hp and 1100 kg (sounds like gt 300
) .
The cars I tested so far in order of fastest to slowest:
*Corvette ZO6 rm / 537 pp
*Fairlady Z Concept LM / 545 pp
*Fto Super touring car / 523 pp
*RX-7 LM race car/ 525
*NSX RM/ 508 pp (tune out the understeer and it wil be close to the ZO6 I think)
*RX-7 TC / 529
These cars al run within a second ( on spa) when I tested them and I think that with a little more testing I can get the closer. Spa is a very large track and I think the times wil be closer on smaller tracks.
* I'm thinking long races with a mandatory pit stop. All drivers wil have to use the harder and the softer tyres.
* All aides wil be of except for abs 1 one but maybe there wil be no abs if enough people would like that?
* No penalties during races. Instead I will save the replay and watch it after the race. ( I won't be racing myself to stay independent) If you think somebody cheated pm me and tell when in the race it happend. I will then judge what penalty would be needed. A harder case will be loaded up to youtube so that all the racers can have a vote ( except for the people involved).
* Tuning parts are alowed unless a team will gets an unfair lead.
* There wil be no more then 2 of the same car on the track. The same car goes in the same team and wil have the same colour scheme (bodywork and wheels)
* Looking for ideas on prize
So far I've tested 6 cars wich will make it a total of 12 cars on the field. If anybody knows of 2 other cars that can compete then let me now. Has to be a race car and can't compete in a real world series.
More will come if people are interested. I have alot of plans but I won't make a super large post when nobody is interest. Feel free to ask questions.
