Here is my idea for a Short Race Series. It involves drivers using a specific ford on a specific track, racing for the fastest lap. Cars can be modded and tuned to your liking.

i had another idea for a race, and i spend a decent amount of time planning it. unfortunately, i havent been reading the challenges board, and a similiar race is underway.

i have other ideas for races, and they will be posted eventually. i plan on taking them one at a time...quality over quantity. preliminary info will be available under "other races"

But, aren't there only 5 different Fords in GT3?
Six, if you count the Ford Powered Cobra.

I'm in. When do you need times?
 
are we going to race all those cars and give u times for every car there.

I think u should specify one car, like the gt40, and we do that car. If we have all these cars to choose from, odds are we will all choose different ones and there will only be 1-2 times to compare each car with.
 
exactly. the way i planed it, is to have everyone race the same car on teh same track. u can tune it how u like, just save your car settings and your time (so we can compare times better).

I am not working for the next three days I will give this a go later in the week. If I can wrench the controller out of the hands of my children.
 
all right, lets get this show on the road. :)

here is the schedule:
Round 1
SVT Cobra R at Seattle Circuit
Times Due: Friday June 7th

Round 2
GT40 at Midfield Raceway
Times Due: Friday June 14th

Round 3
Focus Rally Car
Times Due: Friday June 21st

PM all times to me, do not post them in the thread. They are due at midnight eastern standard time. for example, the first times would be due on 12:00 am e.s.t. on fri-sat on june 7th.

you can modify and tune your car as much as you want. PM me your best lap time. the first installment of the Ford Racing League will be a Short Racing series (3 rounds).
 
i almost forgot....
please write down your car's settings for each round. u dont have to PM me the settings, but keep a record of them.
