Interest check: Mazda 5678 Race Series

Hi all,

I am planning a three round race series with only Mazda's.

Three races but I'll give you four cars and tracks so that the third race will still be a surprise.

The cars:
Mazda MX-5-RS
Mazda 6 5 doors '03
Mazda RX-7 spirit R type A '02
Mazda RX-8 Type S (J) '03

The tracks:
Trial Mountain Circuit
El Capitan
Apricot Hill Raceway
Opera Paris

All cars will be tuned with only a few restrictions in Bhp and tires and run in practice(5Cr.).
More details as the race starts.
If all goes well the first race will start at Monday 30 May.

Good idea, Ben. But I do like, that all the cars are easy accessible (read: I only got the used 787B ).

But it would be great for a future series. There's also several very cool Mazda racecars in this game.

Oh and I forgot to mention in my last post, that I also like your track selection, Sjaak. Looks very good. 👍

The Mazda RX-8 LM Race Car is also a favorite of mine.

Standard OLR rules

-2 wheels on the track at all times
-rumble strips are part of the track
-no wall contact
-no cheating
-fastest lap replay must be saved

As for the tuning,there are some rules I explain later.
Part of the suspense.

Replay verification is no basic rule for this serie.
It is all about the Honor system,stick to the rules and all will be fine.

The main reason for the races I choose is having fun in combination with some competition.

Are these going to be hotlaps, or multi-lap events? Looks like hotlaps, but I just thought I'd ask.

All you can buy except HP upgrades,nos and wings.
Tires:racing soft.
Only exception on the car rule:Na tune-up 3 and oil change.Makes 259 Bhp

Mazda 6 5 doors'03
All you can buy except HP upgrades,nos and wings.
Tires:super soft
Only exception on the car rule:engine balancing,turbo 2 and oil change.Makes 282 Bhp

Mazda RX-7 spirit type A(FD)'02
All you can buy except HP upgrades,nos and wings.
Tires:racing soft
Only exception on the car rule: Oil change.Makes 312 BHP

Mazda RX-8 Type S(J)'03
All you can buy except HP upgrades,nos and wings.
Tires:racing soft
Only exception on the car rule: Oil change Makes 299 Bhp
