Being a fan of the Mini I've been racing my modified 1998 Mini, but there never seems to be a room where there's like-minded people.

Anyone out there interested in setting up a Classic Mini Race or maybe even a Eurpean Classic race series? Perhaps we could include the orginal VW beetle and the orginial Fiat 500 as well?

As a side note, if anyone want to get rid of there 1998 Mini I would gladly accept the car as a gift or work out a small trade:dopey:

I am too a fan of classic minis (I own a Morris Mini 1000 '69) but I'm struggling so bad to find it in GT5!? How did you stumble across it? And was it easy?

Just keep checking the UCD. In my experiance they come in pairs, with one at the bottom of the UCD and another at the top (or one comes in just after another left)

Yeah - I won one in the specials.

And I'd definitely be up for racing one against you. Or i'd be more interested in a European compacts race or similar. Failing that a Max 250BHP/Min 700Kg (lower?) style races. Basically cos I've got a MK I Golf GTI that I've gone nuts on (much like you have I suspect). Bought the car for £8K, must have spent £200k on it :/

The Golf is up to 220BHP and down to 720Kg... does that compare? There are a few others that could compete, especially if you are looking at the japanese cars too.

Either way - add me if you fancy it. PSN : Mong_Panic

Usually every evening I set up a 150hp Micro Car around 8:00pm to 11:00pm est US. I usually run the Mini, Beetle, Samba Bus, Golf, and my favorite the 68 Karmann Ghia. I set the hp at 157hp and leave everything else alone. I also normally try to use small twisty tracks to help challenge the little cars and I also let people vote too. So look for my races log in name is ghiamonster.
