Featuring some of the fastest cars ever concieved, the Red Bull Racing Formula X World Championship is the ultimate test of skill and determination featuring 800 HP open wheel race cars capable of speeds up to 230 MPH. This championship covers the entire globe with race events at the most prestigious race circuits in the world.

1 - General Undertaking
1.1 - All competitors in the 2018 Formula X World Championship must read, agree and adhere to all of the terms contained within these sporting regulations.
1.2 - The championship and its events is governed by the Gran Turismo Association in accordance with the regulations.

2 - General Conditions
2.1 - Competitors must ensure that their cars comply with the regulations of eligibility and safety for the entire duration of each race.

3 - Championship Events
3.1 - Events are reserved for Formula X cars as defined by the regulations.
3.2 - If 90 minutes have elapsed before the race distance has been achieved, the winner will be shown the checkered flag when he nexts crosses the finish line.
3.3 - The maximum number of championship events in a season is 20. The minimum is 8.
3.4 - An event may be cancelled if less than 6 competitors show up to the race start.

4 - World Championship
4.1 - The Formula X World Drivers Championship will be awarded to the driver who has scored the maximum number of points over a single championship season.
4.2 - Points for the championship title will be awarded on the following scale: 1st: 20, 2nd: 18, 3rd: 15, 4th: 12, 5th: 10, 6th: 8, 7th: 6, 8th: 4, 9th: 2, 10th: 1

5 - Competitor Application
5.1 - Applications to compete in the Formula X World Championship must include confirmation that the applicant has read the rules & regulations
5.2 - No more than 16 cars can be entered into the championship

6 - Car Livery
6.1 - The car used by each competitor must use the driver number they have selected prior to the start of the championship.

7 - Competitor Instructions
7.1 - The stewards and race director may give instructions to any competitor in accordance with the racing regulations.
7.2 - All racing classifications and race results, as well as racing official decisions, will be published via the GTPlanet Media Section.

8 - General Safety
8.1 - A speed limit of 80 KM/H will be enforced in the pit lane during the entire event
8.2 - If a driver runs out of fuel, it is their duty to leave the track surface as soon as it is safe to do so.

9 - Tyre Usage
9.1 - All drivers must use the mandatory tyres supplied by Pirelli for all Grand Prix events.
9.2 - All drivers must use at least one soft and one hard compound tyre for every Grand Prix event.

10 - Driving
10.1 - All competitors must drive their car alone and unaided
10.2 - All competitors must comply with the safety regulations at all time while on track.
10.3 - All competitors must make every reasonable effort to use the track at all times and may not deliberately leave the track with no justifiable reason.
10.4 - If a car leaves the track it may only rejoin when it is safe to do so.
10.5 - At no point should any car be driven unnecessarily slowly, erratically or in any manner that could be foreseen as dangerous.

11 - Pit Rules
11.1 - At no point must any car be travelling in reverse in the pit lane under its own power.

12 - Refuelling
12.1 - Refuelling is only permitted in the competitors respective garages
12.2 - The driver may remain in their car during refuelling but their engine must be switched off

13 - Qualifying
13.1 - Qualifying takes place in the first 30 minutes of the race lobby being set up and ends once the race steward has commented "QS has finished". At this point all competitors must finish their current lap and then retreat to the pitlane.

14 - Racing Incidents
14.1 - It shall be at the discretion of the race director if any driver involved in an incident is to be penalised.
14.2 - Stewards can impose either a 5 or 10 second penalty for each racing incident.

15 - Classification
15.1 - Cars will be classed based on the number of laps they have completed and the time at which they finally cross the finish line.
15.2 - Cars who have covered less than 75% of the race distance will not be classified

The Red Bull X2014 is the control spec car used in the Formula X World Championship. This open wheel race car features state of the art aerodynamics designed by legendary designer Adrian Newey. Powering the X2014 is a Renault Sport 2.0 turbocharged V6 producing 790 BHP @ 15,000 rpm. This revolutionary machine was created in 2014 in a collaboration between the Gran Turismo Association and Red Bull Racing.

Lobbies will be created at approximately 9PM GMT on a Sunday with a race start of 9:30PM GMT. The lobby settings are as follows.
