This is a multiple round series used to determine the quality of participants' tuning skills.

Each paticipant can choose to be in any or all of the classes, which are FF, FR, etc. Each is covered.

The first step is to buy all the top parts for your chosen car, equip them and go to Apricot Hill (official course) and get the best lap you can.

After that you adjust one part in your suspension, only one, until you get the best lap improvement possible. The person with the greatest improvement wins the round.

Now you can play two ways, revert the adjusted part to where it was before adjustment and then change the next part, or adjust the next part with the previous part adjustment left alone. If you choose the former the improvement is based on the time difference of your initial best lap time. The latter is based on the best lap after each successive parts adjustment. State A Mode for former, B Mode for latter.

There will be a chosen car for each class; to be determined.

ASM/TCS are to be turned off/ set to 0

1st round: Initial best lap.

2nd round: Best lap with front springs.

3rd round: Best lap with rear springs.

4th round: Best lap with front ride height.

5th round: Best lap with rear ride height.

6th round: Best lap with damper bound front.

7th round: Best lap with damper bound rear.

8th round: Best lap with damper rebound front.

9th round: Best lap with damper rebound rear.

10th round: Best lap with front camber.

11th round: Best lap with rear camber.

12th round: Best lap with front toe

13th round: Best lap with rear toe.

14th round: Best lap with front stabilizer.

15th round: Best lap with rear stabilizer.

16th round: Best lap with front brake.

17th round: best lap with rear brake.

18th round: Best lap with gearing, but only the final drive ratio and last gear may be adjusted.

Points system: To be determined.

Schedule depends on how well this series is received.

Hah, another interesting round of challenges.
I like it.
Im in.
Keep us up to date with whats going on.

Well, that's one. Now if there are any more I need suggestions for cars. If it can be bought and equip and use the parts listed, it's a candidate. One car a class. The 4wd/all-wheel, whatever will have two versions, those cars that have vcd and don't.

C'mon ppl, lets get moving on this. Is no one interested??
Misnblu

Well Talentless, I guess its just you and me. ;)
Misnblu

No, just you because I only planned on managing.

I know my other failed series were complex (actually they mostly weren't) but this is not. Sometimes I think the imagination here is dead. If it is not a 'who is quicker with an R390 or NSX challenge, few seem to care. Mileage challenges, multiple-class challenges, tuning, does not matter.

I will kill this off too if it does not pick up interest soon.

Well, what do you expect with a bunch of young kids just getting into the game. I wouldnt mind learning more on the suspension setups to get the best handling car I can and this challenge wouldve been right down my alley.
Oh, nothing against you young whipper snappers. ;)
No harm intended, but the facts speak for themselves..

If you have a question, ask away.

All you do is make one adjustment at a time.

Ok, will skip the mode A B stuff

Just buy the selected car and give it all the top mods.

race it with no adjustment till you get a lap you like

send me the time

then in each round you adjust one part at a time, and only that part. To add to the challenge you have to keep that change for the next round.

you will be given points based on how much faster you are in two areas. if you win the best lap in a round and if your improved time over the last round is better than your opponents.

your settings are not to be given except in the final round where you and your opponent will post your settings than use each others settings

10 points for best laps and 5 for better improved time.

Sounds good to me.
So when do we begin.
Misnblu

Life is complicated so lets get on with it, shall we?? :D
Misnblu

i can't, i wanted two but it seems this is complicated.

i don't understand this board sometimes. i mean, if you don't like my challenges, fine. but if you guys think i'm complex, try running real touring car races. i haven't but have seen rules and heard data on them. there are rules down to the location of shock absorbers.

does noone want more than just a best lap with a le mans car race?

Me, I do. Lets get on with it.
How can it be too complicated.
Heh, this was supposed to be a learning experience and a challenge simultaneously. ;)
Talentless, dont second guess this one.
Misnblu

I've tried to explain, you don't have a competitor. Playing causes me stress, I'm better off taking things slow or I could make myself sick.

GTS has indicated a lack of interest.

Yes or no man. Its up to you and you can learn from this if you want to be a better racer/ driver of the game.
Im trying Talentless, really I am. :D
GTS-R man, its all on you. ;)
Misnblu

I apologize if I am being a baby, but it gets to you. This is not the only place where I have had to deal with people commenting on my complexity. Seems to me that a 14 year old should beable to understand it.

Btw, I don't know how old GTS is.

11 years old. Cant blame him at all.
Heck, at 11, I would be intimidated as well. lol
