Been playing with cars and using Laguna Seca in the classic series and tho Ive already done the seasonals you still get money each time you do it! I thought seasonals pay out only once!

Also while in there I decided to take a crappy old car (1100 beetle) and see if I could win with it! I then found that fitting the close ratio gearbox kills the top speed but i got 4th place with it and only 9th with the standard box, even tho that took me to 108 mph!

Bonus Races pay out only once, the Challenge series pay out repeatedly.

but it´s not really worth to grind those events since payout / xp is bad ^^

Bad or not, its fun. Not all races in the game give you variety like this.

Credit payout is relatively good, since these races are much more fun to do than endless Like-the-Wind Indy grinding and still in the 65000-72000 credit range. 👍

Well it is if youre not only interested in making money or xp!

no, i´m not. i just prefer driving nurburgring f.e. because the track is great and i can choose a sls or any other nice german car. didn´t want to mock on anyone for playing this events. for me it´s just not interesting to drive 100hp cars from 69 or so. that´s all :)

*edit*

i never grinded indy or like the wind. nur is all i need ^^

Which A-spec event do you do, to earn repeat CR / XP on Nurburing?

Schwarzwald B I'm guessing although it's only 1 lap

I think the payout for these races is just about perfect. You can make enough money to purchase almost any of the 40-50 cars that qualify for the event in one race. That makes if feel worth while and anti-grindy.

The event appeals to the car-collector aspect of the game, it's easy to find classic cars in the OCD and UCD that I don't have.

I've also been going back through the prize cars in my garage and racing some of them for the first time as well. Collecting cars is neat - but whats the point if you don't race them?

I also really enjoy adding tuning parts to the cars I can't win with, picking the parts I need makes it feel like my car.

Fantastic event, I hope PD picks up on what makes it work so well and we get something similar in the future.

What about this new glitch aswell.....

ye, right. i also do the 4h nur endurance once on the weekend if i have the time. looking forward to get in-race-saving, so i can drive an hour (or two) of this event in the evening after work and do the rest another day. :)

2 million exp ain´t that bad

I was doing the same thing as well. I beat the race with a 450pp car and found out that the opponent cars are nowhere near that so I kept using slower and slower cars. Didn't try it with a beetle yet but I haven't been on psn since last week :-( I want to try a vw bus with some upgrades and see how it rolls.

Is this the one where you can do 200 laps in 6 mins by donutting on the start finish line. Apparrently there is massive xp and cr to be had. I was going to start a thread about it but i dont know enough about it. Maybe somebody could enlighten us

These events are and have been great for earning a respectable amount of credits and experience while driving cars that could not otherwise earn you that much in single races. I am glad PD chose to extend the FR/4WD/FF events as well.

I haven't even "tried" to win these. I've been using cars I usually don't drive, running well underpowered and seeing how far through the field I can actually make it. Run it a few times and you'd be surprised how much you can get out of your car. It's been a lot of fun 👍

I like the fact that I don't "need" to win these races in order to get the PSN trophies. Makes them a little more fun.

Yes! I've found it's a lot more fun trying to chase down the 10th place car than it is passing the 1st place car early.
