International A: GT Kart Champioship @ GT Arena

I have completed everything in the International A and Super, but i cannot win this frickening race!!!!! :crazy::mad:

Can anyone give me a tip? I have a controller only, no wheel and pedals and the lack of range on acceleration is a major issue with the Karts.

I am thoroughly p1ssed off though, as the single race is totally disproportionately difficult compared to all others. I have caned GT since the first game and novices would not stand a chance with this race. DP need to change the super human AI I think.
 
Never use full throttle, try to drive more smoothly with 75% max throttle, also braking early enough is crucial to hitting the apex properly and key to getting nice smooth exits. 👍

EDIT: Also, adding 10kg ballast to the front will even out the weight distribution and may make it more suitable for you to drive.

It's not easy!

I made a change to the gearing in the Kart to maximize its acceleration. Also, it seemed to me that keeping up with the pack from the earliest stages was important. And be brutal in overtaking. Eventually, the "rubber band effect" is your friend if you are close enough to catch the leaders.
 
Try to keep a constant rhythm and pace. Do not try to overtake everybody in the first lap. Bear I'm mind the leading car will slow down in the last two laps. Once you get those three ideas in your head... the race itself becomes a walk in the park :D

Don't add balast to the front, but to the back!! See below.



Isn't this with the shifter kart?

Tips from pro's:
- Do an engine revision, to get 2 more horsepower (you cannot change oil, but the engine revision does the trick!)
- Put 15 to 20 kg on weight on the back of the kart, so you won't drift anymore, and can early up accelerate!)
- you can do full accel after the last right bend, over finish until the first right bend!

This will help you win it!!
