International Gran Turismo League (IGTL) - F1 1985 / 300km of Dragon Trail

Hello drivers! This thread will talk about the IGTL in general. After talking of it to @Jordan with @khkenni at Madrid and again at Monaco, we decided to open a thread on GTPlanet. We hope you'll enjoy it!

1. Purpose & Organizing Team

The purpose is to create races that are different from what GT Sport offers itself. What is it? Endurance Races by teams of 2 drivers, with a driver switch. We know, some other leagues (like the VRR) have already done this, but we want to do that on a regular basis (every one or 2 months). Moreover, we aim to have a part of the teams to be "real" teams (examples: Team RedLine, Williams eSports, AS Monaco Esports...), so they can expose their colors while having good races!

This League is organized by:

2. Racing Format

To make it simple, the racing format is an endurance of 3h with a 30 mins qualifying session, split into two (1h30 per driver) with a driver switch right at the middle of the race. IRL, it could be a mandatory pit stop at mid-race for the driver switch! We keep the results of the first stint for the start of the second stint.

3. 3h of Barcelona

The next race is this week end! The qualifying session will be on Friday 30th Nov., 9pm CET and the Stints on Saturday 1st Dec., 7pm CET and 9pm CET.
The conditions are set to be the most realistic ones, except a tyre wear set at x3.
We're also running a special version of lobbies where shortcut penalties can't be decresed by slowing down in the straights. Each penalty will be carried on until the end of the stint.
We're also running a Safety Car if there's a crash (the 1st on track will be the SC)

4. 1h30 of Barcelona

Since we had more teams willing to come than expected, we opened of Promotional Race of 1h30, as a One-Make with the Cayman GT4 (Factory Setup).
It will be held right after the Qualifying Session, at 10pm CET on Friday 30th.

The 3 hours will sure be very competitive considering what I saw from the practice lobbies. The promotional race will probably have some good battles as well. I hope the viewers will enjoy the streams !

3h and102 laps of racing, 26 drivers within 13 teams, and a crazy final laps where the Top 2 finishes at 0.1s.

Races are done, results are settled, penalties had to be given and we have our winning team: Team Klasney, with behind the wheels, @ZokyCRO and @Tidgney ! Congratulations guys, a great recovery and a bit of luck for 2 drivers of the World Class!

Hello Drivers! We didn't planned that but we'll be hosting a race on next Friday. It's a much simplier race, just for the end of the year, so no Stints or SC, but it'll come back on the next Endurance Race, don't be afraid!

So on what we will race? With the old F1, on Dragon Trail Seaside... Reverse! We will respect the 1985 Lotus engine specs (since it's supposed to be the Lotus 97T without the licence), which means a qualifying (1000hp) mode and a race mode (810hp).

The grid is almost full, and it will be a great show! You will recognize some names, that's for sure

The upcoming event is a single stint race, so only one driver per car. It's a special event for christmas on a simpler format, invitation only. The entry list is pretty much done already, and we have a list of reserve drivers to contact as well in case someone can't make it. We already have other stint races in mind, and we will most likely run support races again. We're prioritizing 2 drivers entries, A+ level is pretty much required for the main events, support races are more open (and might or might not stay single stint races), sportsmanship and a good behavior in general are mandatory. @BRacer_GTExD you and OvrD_Lightning sounds like a good lineup, so expect to be contacted
