WELCOME TO GTPLANET'S MOST EXCITING SERIES IN THE MAKING
Logo.png
The IGTC is going to be one of the most competitive series to date, with two classes of cars racing at the same time, heavy performance regulation and an all-star lineup of cars.

If you're interested in competing in the IGTC, or working with me to create a great racing series, just get in touch either here on this forum, or by sending a PM to TheLuigi755.

More information on this series will be released on this series as it evolves, so don't forget to click on "Watch thread" in the top-right corner of this page!

Luigi, I understand that you're currently testing the cars but I recommend you to pick between 6-10 cars after the test.

more important even before you start the test is to choose a few things, else you test will be wasted time.

This things are:

  • What tires you plan using
  • if tuning will be allowed or not
  • how you plan balancing the serie (pp? hp/weight? all of them?)
  • if you plan to have weather enabled or not
also for test i would go for Grand Valley Speedway it has all kinds of turns and a long straight along with elevation changes.

i have many other suggestions too :D

Ok, I'm planning to use any racing tyres. Compounds are the player's choice.
Tuning IS allowed, in any form, up to the PP/BHP limit.
There will be a BHP/PP/KG limit, and weight handicaps on the cars.
Most of the races will be in dry conditions.

I deliberately set it up like this to give drivers their own choice of car, whilst still regulating the field closely.

"Ferrari Challenge" class will be added, using the Ferrari F430 Scuderia. May also use the 458 Italia.
Ford GT now shortlisted for the GT class.

Luigi, Ferrari Challenge One Make is definetly an good idea.
You do realise that the Ferrari Challenge is not the only class in the series, right? I still appreciate the fact that it's sparked interest in the series.
What in the world is that kid-thing in the OP? Not sexy at all.
He HAS a name. His name is Nobita Nobi (Not heard of him? Look up "Nobita Nobi"), but you can just call him "Noby". He's not meant to be "sexy", he's supposed to represent the fact that everyone's welcome (he's a young boy waving at you in that manner).
I don't think it was meant to be sexy at all :p
That's what I just said.
The kid which is in cover is Nobita, an character which appears in Doraemon, The Cosmic Cat! I love Doraemon!!! :D
Being a fan of that series was another factor that had me putting Noby in front of the IGTC.

Hope I answered your questions!

More news will follow daily, so click "Watch Thread" if you're interested in helping me plan the series, or driving when it starts! The calendar will be released in the next 7 days!

Yes, I do realize. I saw the car selection and it was too many cars. I recommend you to pick 8 cars in each class and then: SGT cars for Pro Drivers and GT cars for Am Drivers. (16 Pro + 16 drivers = 32 drivers)

I recommend you to put Ferrari Challenge as the support event if you're going to do an One Make support of IGTC for it.

I'm planning the grid as follows:
  • 8 SGT cars
  • 8 GT cars
  • Ferrari Challenge cars are allowed to participate in the main race if there are not enough SGT/GT cars to fill a grid.
Ferrari Challenge races will start before the main SGT/GT race, but if there are not enough SGT/GT cars, Ferrari Challenge cars can enter the main race as filler.

I'm also wanting the races to be uploaded onto YouTube in the same style as the USCC does.
Because I don't have screen capture, and because race replays are causing the game to crash at this moment, AND because I am unable to make them look authentic (with logos, position tickers and etc.), I'm looking for someone to be able to become the official IGTC broadcaster.
Get in touch with me in a PM on GTP to let me know if you want to work with me.

OK, cool.

UPDATE: SGT class axed to allow Ferrari Challenge to race at the same time as the GTs, as well as cutting the time required for testing, and allowing a wider variety of GTs.

I think that it is better to reduce the GT car selection to 4: SRT Viper, Nissan 370Z, Lamborghini Aventador and Alfa 8C. What do you think? You could have GT car selection running with Ferrari Challenge.

How many points will be attributed to the drivers?

You may know that "spot" entries (teams that don't show up for the whole season) may use cars that other teams aren't using, so this is why we're going to have a massive list of eligible cars, in case a team wants to join with a different car mid-season.

I'll think of a points system just now.

Well, the list of cars is the homologated cars, right? (Just making sure)

Planning to start online tests soon after all cars are homologated: 1.13 has fixed major 1.12 bugs that prevented them previously.
