Because of the RAI event, I came into contact with an organisation that organises big LAN parties. Not only are they going to offer us a free website (with lots of space for pictures and videos !), but they have a big location too that is very cheap. It is in Venlo, which is about 60km above Maastricht, close to the cheap airports of Maastricht, Eindhoven, and closest of all (30km) Niederrhein (I think for instance Ryanair flies you to all of these for about 7 quid from many locations in the UK). It is close to the German and Belgium border (but the city still has coffeeshops ... :roll:

For less than 1500 euros they have a location that is big enough for 200 people, including power for 150 PS2s and TVs, and a 8MB internet connection. This includes a section where you can put down a matrass and sleep. Of course the people who have money enough can still go and get a youth-hostel or something fancier.
Should the response be less than 50 people we could join another big LAN party in May for free ... Is the response more than 50 people, well then for 30 euros per person we're already done. Here's a link to a LAN event that's taking place there and which has many pictures of the location:
