Ok, so i've had this decent internet connection where I live.

5 Mbit down and like 1,5 Mbit up.

Now, those who own the house have "downgraded" to fiber internet, because its VERY slow to load websites, such as GTP, which normally takes less than 0,5 seconds to load on the original connection. Takes 10 times longer to load sites now, IF they load at all.
Getting 1,5 Mbit down and like 0,4 Mbit up.

I've tested both connections on both my desktop and laptop and getting same result. Both computers also has 2/5 signal on the new, but 4/5 on the old connection.

They say their connection is superfast though.

Does anyone know whats the problem here?

Let me know if you need more info.

Maybe you're queued behind someone, who's using a lot of bandwith. I'm not sure though, but a restart of the router/modem should help.

Yeah, ive asked them to do it. But will have to wait a few hours for them to get home.

But even the old connection is faster to load websites even if everyone is downloading. :dunce:

Other suggestions?
