= fairly funny (made me smile)
= very funy (made me laugh out loud)

I avoid LOL, BTW, etc. whenever possible. I don't care if others use it. But that's not my gripes:

1. Any plural word that ends in "z". (Example: "userz")
2. Using numbers for letters: (Example: "h1 p30pl3!" \hi people!\)
3. And sentences that go on and on for 6 lines without a period (you know who you are...)

I only use LOL and don't bother with ROFLMAO, i think it's a bit exagerated myself

i use like: "w3rd" sometimes, cause i find it funny, i never use "lol" but i occasionally use "btw" and none others.. try to use straight english as much as possible.
