Intro and A Quick Question

Hey there everyone, Im Yoshi. I have played GT games before but am not very familiar with them because im into other games right now but i made a promise that i will dedicate alot of my spare time to GT4. Currently im in the SSX scene. I play alot of SSX Tricky and have/hold World Records for it. But I think its about time to start something different with more competition. Well I just found this place so I can start gettin familiar with the scene but geez, this place is just overwhelming, there are ALOT of active members and I might get lost here lol. But hopefully you guys can squeeze one more person =)

Also, does anyone know where I can find a place that has "official" world records for Gran Turismo series besides Twin Galaxies? any help would be appreciated.

Hey there, welcome aboard! Just look around, get familiar and all. It's not just about GT in here, as you probably noticed. :)

I think you'll find what you need at GT3Times, regarding world records.

Welcom, Yoshi. As PR has said, the commonly acknowledged best records site is GT3Times, though there are others. Take a look in our own OnLine Racing forum here, and get involved in the weeklies. Also, a lot of your GT3 questions are probably answered at the GT3 forum.

wow you guys are cool peeps. thanks alot for the welcome. Man, this is weird, you guys are probably gonna hate me now but, besides GT2 i hated the GT series cuz they never got everything right. Then again im very picky in my games so bleh..


But all this GT4 stuff has me hyped up like no other game has EVER hyped me. then i find this place and it ownz!

If any of you guys are even remotely into the SSX series go to www.merqurycity.com its a nice fansite, im one of the mods there and we could always use more visitors.

If you try to set compete in GT3 in the OL Racing Scene, good luck. I though I was good at GT3, but these guys are godly. I'm overwhelmed by there mad skillz. I did, however submit my first time today at GT3times.com. I'm 12th in the Apricot Hill 27 race in the Formula GT series :D. Hopefully I will get even better since I'm shaking all the rust off.
 
Well, I've never played SSX before, but I hear it's good. Welcome to GTPlanet.net, enjoy your stay. You speak blasphame about the Gran Turismo series (they get more right than any other racing game), but I won't hold it against you. Have fun. :cool:👍
