Welcome to the introduction of Newbie Racing Series
For us who stand no chance of racing aginst the best on the weekley races I ave created a league of our own. I want at least 10 people willing to start it and won't go on with it until I get 10 confirmations that they will race. Newbs ONLY! All the people who are half decent can go race with the better racers.

To confirm that your going ot compete either send me a private message via e-mail or messenger or post a reply on here.

I am going to leave this post up for 2 days and if I don't get 10 or more then I am just going to not do it ok!?

seen as tho boom has already started with the weekly race series y not just compete in that - Dont matter if u lose just having fun takin part is the main thing and say you got 10 people to race - y not have the same 10 people race with you in the already pre-prepared racing series that boom does ?? Less work for you then ??

Or try the very rewarding and enjoyable F1 series run by Storm

Just thinkin out loud and good luck if you get a series started

Dunno about the best but there are some quick racers in the F1 at the mo

And then Im in there and I certainly aint the best !!!
 
I'm with BigJamesGTI, just join one of the other weekly races.

Should be in the ***ON-LINE RACING FORUM***

The racin doesnt go on "on-line" as it were just racin at home then posting your fastest times on here. I too like you thought I cudnt do it cos it was "on-line"

Have a read thru the threads "weekly race series" and "gran turismo driving league"

Plenty of stuff to go at there - you'll find all the answers u need
 
sweet so there car limits like class or power and then can we join almost anyone that just recently started preatty much right?
 
Hey guy's.

In the Weekly Race Series, it is broken up into divisions so that drivers of equal skill levels are racing against eachother.

There is a Pro, Amateur and Beginner class.

That way, racers with less experience don't have to compete with the faster drivers. Plus, while the same thread shares people of variing experience, you can ask questions and pick up on some helpful tips that will improve your racing.

All you got to do is register and start racing. Ask all the questions that you need. You can either PM me or talk to all the other racers, they are more than willing to help.

i would like to join the n00b ranks if i can :)

i dunno, on Laguna, with rx-8 I am able to get 1:34s where pros can get 1:32s and 3s. am i still in n00b ? or in amatuer?

All you have to do to compete in the weekly race series is run the specified qualifier lap as stated in this thread:

Be sure to use the specified car in arcade mode free run. Run as many laps as many times as you like, when you are satisfied that you can't get a faster time, just PM the lap time to Boombexus and tell him you are registering for the Weekly Race Series. Make sure you read all the rules carefully. Once you send in a time Boom will let you know what division you will be in.

i did the stock Evo 7 gsr and got 1:25 something.. and pmed him.. but he hasnt replied yet :( but he might be busy :D
 
did i miss it?, what track, what car? Limits?
interested please post some of the details at least.
 
Also is this game specific cause I have gt2 only
