I'm a newbie to iRacing and looking at opening an account on there.
I've noticed that 12 months membership costs $99 but on this page:
http://www.iracing.com/leagues/pricing.php
It is $49 but it is on the league part of the website.

Is there any difference between the 2?

No, there is no difference in the memberships. I used this membership to join back in July. Many call the $49 offer for new members the 'buried offer' since it is not actively promoted by iRacing and tucked away in the League subsection. AFAIK, it has been on that page and active since at least May 2011 when I saw the link in another thread.

Cheers, I got pretty upset when I thought I missed the black friday $49 offer so I'm all happy again.
