From yesterday, for those who bought Gold edition, out is new NASCAR game. For everyone else launch is at 18th, this Friday for all main platforms.



Got the STEAM key for review and late last night I drove first race, 11 laps at Indianapolis.
At the first, not impressed, mainly with poor graphics - although is everything on highest at 2K monitor.

Will you get it?
 
I get it tomorrow and while I think it is NASCAR 25.5 I still look forward to the stuff that has been improved. I don't buy a lot of games either so I am Ok with it. 27 should be a big step up but their cringy 2 year dev-cycle is trash. They should do a Y-2 release and a roster update Y-1
 
First impressions are that they’ve improved the one thing that REALLY hacked me off about 25 - they’ve made the order of AI results variable instead of the same drivers finishing in the same positions race after race after race. You can also adjust the relative strength of the AI drivers (ie manually change their ratings) and continuously design and race in new liveries in career mode.

Those things make it worthwhile in themselves for me.

Today I played a lot, more then 5 hours and game is ok.
Nothing special, but good fun for a change.
Biggest complain is only one, ugly designed helmet...no matter how you change colors on it.

Unlocked fourth sponsor and Truck Series, 15/20 in ARCA.

Once career dialed in , I am having a fantastic time so far. One of the strong points is definitely the racing against the ai
 
I'm enjoying this too. It's a step forward over 25 definitely, and I love how the different series all have a very distinct character to the competition. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Indycar too.
 
My son bought this and I helped him sort out the FFB. The default game setting was terrible on the DD+, but you can get a nice feeling once you sort it all out, plus Fullforce is a bonus.

Graphics and framerate on PS5 Pro are very nice. Haven't done much racing yet, just letting the boy enjoy it!
 
Last night I finished with Truck series and won it - far the hardest part of Career.

Started O'Reilly, much easier to finance season, but racing is totally intense - I debuted on Daytona as 10th with 0.236s after winner.

Now 33 races in season, this is getting long time to finish.
 
How is it for a person whose last NASCAR game was NH4? I really want to get this but I am skeptical of making the purchase if its going to be as aggravating as AC.

It will be good game for sure.
I had last playing 15 years ago too.

Some mumbling from my side...please be aware I normally don't mic my session , I have a accent , my daughter is watching a movie and I am far from William Shatner 😭
