iRacing NASCAR 26

From yesterday, for those who bought Gold edition, out is new NASCAR game. For everyone else launch is at 18th, this Friday for all main platforms.



Got the STEAM key for review and late last night I drove first race, 11 laps at Indianapolis.
At the first, not impressed, mainly with poor graphics - although is everything on highest at 2K monitor.

Will you get it?

I get it tomorrow and while I think it is NASCAR 25.5 I still look forward to the stuff that has been improved. I don't buy a lot of games either so I am Ok with it. 27 should be a big step up but their cringy 2 year dev-cycle is trash. They should do a Y-2 release and a roster update Y-1

First impressions are that they’ve improved the one thing that REALLY hacked me off about 25 - they’ve made the order of AI results variable instead of the same drivers finishing in the same positions race after race after race. You can also adjust the relative strength of the AI drivers (ie manually change their ratings) and continuously design and race in new liveries in career mode.

Those things make it worthwhile in themselves for me.
