Race Times
Feedback wanted. What days/times can you make?
Provisional Race Day + Time: Tuesday/Thursday - 19:00 to 21:00GMT Start Time.

This is just an interest check so that I can see if anybody is actually interested in this kind of series before I start testing cars properly. I feel there is a lot of potential in these cars, and if successful, I plan to have different country-specific challenges in the future. I am also open to date/time suggestions. The current days/times are my ideal choice, but I am willing to change depending on what people would be able to make.

Hey Wes, great to see your interested, and yeah, I think these cars don't get enough love around here, they're pretty damn fun to drive!

That's great Green, if we have 2 tiers then it would probably be mixed class, with 7 in each tier in a division, although it depends on how the servers handle 12+ people nowadays, going to see how it is in WSGTC before I make a decision there. If there still is a lot of strain and lag then it will probably just be one-class races, 12 in each :)

Anybody else interested? C'mon guys, stop hiding and give me a good reason to go through with this, I quite like the idea myself :p

Anyway, this is a very provisional track list I just cooked up, trying to keep it as European as possible. Suggestions welcome.

Track List

- Nurburgring GP/D
- Spa-Francorchamps
- Monza
- Toscana Custom Track (May consult R1600Turbo, he is the master in this field :D)
- Nurburging GP/F
- Monaco
- Nurburgring 24hr

Okay, not much interest, which throws me off a bit, but this time regardless I'm going to go ahead with the series, get it all sorted out with testing as I have a free week next week, I plan to have a thread up in the Racing Series section by the end of next week. Watch out for it.

I'll see if I can do some advertising.:sly:

About to have a small test session in my lounge, everyone is welcome, just make sure you have at least one of the cars and have me added as a friend.

Are you planning on running these cars stock, as street cars or modify them to race cars?

Well, I want to keep them stock to an extent, but so that they are all balanced in their respective tiers. I can see myself adding features like Spoilers etc for better Aero, but I will try not to add any turbos or engine upgrades, in fact a good thing would be to compare it to PURE GT4. HP tier will be a good bit faster, looking around the 500hp mark, while the S tier will be around 350hp, not sure whether that will be slower or faster than GT4.

EDIT: Testing over before it starts lol, internet is horrible, can't even get in my own room :(

Swapped 2 of the Sports Tier cars after initial testing.

BMW M3 ---> BMW Z4 M Coupe
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG ---> Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG

With the cars we have, as well as a Team Championship we may also have a Manufacturers championship. Saying that, I'm also considering bringing the Scirocco into the Sports Tier, but I don't have the DLC, so if anyone would be willing to help out testing with that, please do say 👍

There is also going to be a title change and some other interesting features announced, all will be revealed when the main thread goes up ;)

Hey I don't mind helping out with testing biffy 👍

Great! Going to PM you very soon.

This looks good to me, depending when it starts. If it's when GT4 Cup finishes that I'd likely be up for it. I'd stick to the sports class due to the power range, probably in a Z4M unless you fancied using a 135i Coupe instead :). I'm a maybe for now, would enjoy something with a bigger range of cars from across the globe rather then just german engineering. Only looked in this thead because of GT4 Cup ^^.

Races will be Thursday night (GMT), and well, in terms of cars from different countries, more will be revealed when I make the thread soon ;)
