Ameer's thread is very useful but this forum is still kinda scattershot, still in its infancy in fairness. I was wondering if GTPlanet could host a Googledoc or Excel (not totally sure how such things work) where creators could submit their tracks, some data and a link, and others could leave a rating, say out of 10? I know ratings can seem a little harsh at times but it will really make it easier for others to not overlook the best tracks out there, and give folks like me a starting point, as haven't even looked at the feature yet :)

Great minds think alike ....

I was thinking about this yesterday and even started making an Access database myself.... But i am kinda busy at work and around the house so i cannot fully dedicate myself to this...

I think this is really needed...

Problem: The individual track database is meshed with the main CM subforum, making the subforum cluttered wit individual tracks, sometimes by one author.

The tuning section got it right: Making the database separate with the subforum. Then a thread in the subforum link the database.

Agreed, but they are probably working to address this. Let's see what Jordan has in store.
