is anyone else slightly disappointed

hi guys just got this and had a quick go, i must say it didn't meet my expectations, the physics are slightly better, especially low speed grip, but still feels like GT4. I'll try the G25 tomorrow i think.

graphics wise cars are superb but the tracks doesn't look as good as the cars. Suzuka's grass textures are horrid. And the replays are choppy?

anyway i hope i'll end up liking it, maybe it's just too much of the 'same' since i've been playing GT since the first one..
 
what did you expect than...a totally different game???
as it is the next gt game,its a evolution like the others...not a revolution,as being a completly new game....

The more I play it, the more it grows on me. In the beginning it was difficult on professional. But if you keep hanging on and finally can start tuning the car it all opens up. Online is making me happy now instead of making me angry!
 
I've noticed that when switching to standard physics, it pretty much feels like previous GTs. On pro physics though, it's a different level.
 
Physics only slightly better? I find they are much beter!

Only things that were 'not so good as expected' - Online! , Events grid line ups , No Damage.

But most of these things will be fixed! Replays are not bad, they look very good, nice angles, 'choppy' whats does that mean?

And i havent noticed any Suzuka grass problems as i did not pay any attention to them , because i was concentrating on the road (that grey stuff) :p

Offcourse the game is not perfect, because no game is ;)

get that G25 out! I haven't even driven 1 race with the control pad. and set the physics to pro. then you'll see just how far GT5P has come since even GTHD 👍

I'm only disappointed about two things - firstly, there is no Sprinter Trueno, and secondly, where the heck is the Green Hell? I thought Nurburgring was a cert for this game, but its a no show. Lets hope they slipstream it into an update sometime... Oh, and the lack of sportsmanship online, but you can't blame PD for that! 👍
 
There are many threads discussing the pros and cons of GT5:P. We don't need a new thread for it.
