Is Bob Stupid?

Why doesn't Bob full accelerate? In gear 1-2 he accelerates using only half bar or more, but not fully. Why? is it going to be better with level up?
I'm doing GT Championship and my Minolta gets passed by very slower cars.
Sorry for bad english.
PS: I'm level 13
 
If your transmission is focused on speed, he won't accelerate too quickly. Focus on a lower final gear.

Mm... But on the sarthe circuit? That's a quick track, so i don't see why put a lower final gear. PD didn't try the game at all, LOL
 
hes stupid.

i give him a toyota runx that makes 190ps...at like 8000rpm./.

and lift (read vtec) kicks in from 6200-8200 unfortunately my granny shifts higher than bob, so when he shifts at 7 k, which is suboptimal and it dumps him out of the cars major 'powerband'. why dont i have the facility to beat the living crap out of him? wheres the 'berate driver' or the 'your fired' button?
 
He isn't stupid, but he IS partially sighted and suffers from a weak right leg.
 
He'll get better, you just have to be patient.

At level 1 pretend he has never driven a car before, and is 12 years old, and you won't be so disappointed. He gets much better as he levels.
 
I`ve learnt he loves to drift FR cars,when he should be racing. Stupid Bob! :-)
