Is brands hatch imminent?

hello people don`t know if this is the right place to post this but is brands hatch imminent? the reason i say this is because as we know the david coulthard competition is soon and the competition is for uk users, i have just noticed that the dtm series in which david coulthard races is having their race weekend at brands hatch, where i`m quite sure they use the sls amg as the safety car. i may be way off the mark but thought i would share this
 
Interesting idea you have there. If it is Brands Hatch, I'll a dream come true moment. :)
Also shouldn't this be spoken of in the Coulthard GT5 Competition thread?
 
yes probably. thought this was where i had to post. i am relatively new to these forums. if you can move it feel free, i however am not technically minded
 
i really hope its brands hatch although i doubt it! i lived next to it for 24 years and did loads of track days on it. wild dream though i fear
 
You don't think he can get from Brands Hatch to the Top Gear Test Track overnight?

The competition starts tomorrow morning, in which everyone can compete online live. If they were doing it on a new track it would have to be released already, because people aren't going to log on tomorrow morning to race live and then find they've got to download a track first.
 
Or maybe the track has already been downloaded in one of the updates. If it is a new track, which I doubt.

But what about people with slow download speeds? Not really fair on them, by the time the track downloads the contest will be over.

Yeah Brands Hatch DLC, lets drive on it, abuse the AI on it, glitch out of it, get it fixed and then cry because you can't adjust the rear camber on frontwheel drived cars.

I don't think that's the issue. Judging from that old time trial competition, a track can be less than 200mbs.



Anyway, I don't think that they would introduce such an important update for a competition that is for the UK only unless I'm missing something.

No. The track that will be used in the David Coulthard competition tomorrow is already in the game.
