Is Drift mode Included?

I'm one of them people you call ricers. As soon as I am able to drive i am fitting 17 inch rims.................anyway, my question is: IS THERE A DRIFT MODE IN GT4? this question has been asked but no straight answer. If there is no drift mode, why the #### has Yamauchi included ultimate D1 winners. What i mean is I saw the yokohoma drift s13 {nissan 200sx} and some drift skyline r34 with blue neons in the front grill.i saw these two cars in screenshots. one quick question: does gt4 have bodykits {yes or no}
 
I'm sorta surprised I'm dignifying this with a response.


The cars are in the game even though there isn't a 'drift mode' because people still like to drift. And because people like the cars!

The drift mode in the game is called practice, or free run or whatever... drift wherever you feel like, you make the drift mode.

As far as bodykits, I'm 99% that's a no. Wings, yes, kits, no.
 
Nothing wrong with fitting 17 Inch rims to your car. Just depends on the make it is. Putting huge rims on a Civic is obviously stupid, because your not going to use those rims efficiently. But putting 17 inch rims on an M3 is totally different (It actually comes with 17 Inch ;)).
And damn.. don't even get me started on chrome :odd: :odd:

three ways to know your a ricer-
-your car has a GT-R badge, but no RB26DETT engine or Attessa-ETS all wheel drive
-you add a super tall wing & 100kg of aftermarket ground effects, neons & stereo, yet you yank out hte rear seat to save weight.
-You've got a **** laod of MOMO stickers, but no actual MOMO gear.
 
I don't know if it's because there is no drift mode, but there may have originally been one (it's seen in images of the game from tokyo press conferences.) so it seems the cars may have made it but the mode itself no, much like the HKS drag cars in GT2 as a dragstrip was in early builds of the game.

:lol: Latest issue of Speed magazine right? How about this one : You can't point to the parts that are provided with stickers, because you don't know what they are.

I'm amazed this thread has this many replies. The answer to drift mode is no and there are no kits. There's nothing else to talk about.
 
through my experience with gran turismo.. they have never offered a 'drift mode' but they have incorporated all the motion to be able to. you could set up your car properly to drift and such.. but the car isnt going to be set up to drift right off the bat.. =] oh yeah.. this is my first time to gtplanet.. hehe the game is godly. :)

...in the game i really dont care...Im gonna make stupid cars (EK civic with ugly wheels and huge spoiler........like the ricers do)

Intel... I think my Corolla runs 15s STOCK...no doubt if I put on the Azenis that my MR2 uses.

Ricers are funny cause they think Chrome is cool, big wheels are cool, and heavy as hell sound systems are cool... and that they can go fast with those things...

Drift mode isn't needed to have amazing drift cars. They are there because they are well know performance machines...

Hey, I think you forgot about the huge cheap plastic wings and the $40 fart tubes from Canadian Tire..
 
There are D1 cars b/c there was orginally a drift mode. However, the mode did not make it, but KY decided to leave them in.

BTW, the question has been answered many times.

Yes you are indeed a ricer my friend, the s13 silvia is what they call a 240sx here not a 200sx, the 200sx is like a sporty sentra, and in japan the s13's are called 180sx's so please for all us nissan enthusiust, stay with ur civic ricer cars. your front wheel drive race cars, your cars that sound like a d@mn bumble bee!!! :yuck:

in some regions the S13 Fastback is known as the 200sx. 💡

edit: also, don't be mixing the Silvias and the 180sx together, they're different.
