IS-F Racing Concept an Actual racer Next Year??

The IS-F Racing Concept in GT5 looks sweet & I was wondering if this will be racing next year in Super GT! I thought due to the fact that the SC430 isn't being made anymore that they'd replace it with the Concept in GT5! Would be sweet seeing that in Super GT alongside GT-R's & HSV's! BTW, is this the wrong forum to be discussing it in??
 
Read the description of the car in the dealer. He's not going anywhere, just a databank.
 
It looks more likely to race in some touring series like the DTM than Super GT. Look at the aero, does not fit into the Super GT theme.
 
Yeah, the IS F race car is a DTM car, not a Super GT car. I wouldn't be surprised if it was designed for an actual race, but it'll be hard since it's been a while since a Japanese car maker has been in DTM. Audi is in a similar boat with the R8 LMS Race Car. The one you see in GT5 doesn't actually race. I think the only R8 LMS racing is in FIA. But, Audi WANTS to enter it in DTM, Grand Am and LeMans but with little success. And Audi is suffering finacial troubles and chose to build their R18 race car instead of pursuing the R8 LMS.

It would be cool to see someone competing with Mercedes and Audi in DTM, I don't know if it'll happen next year.
 
DTM and Super GT have come to an agreement to get unified specifications on their cars. That way we might see more japanese brands in german Touring and the other way around too.
 
I tried the Lexus in the Super GT B Spec, and it's too hard on the rear tires to be succesful. My NSX (whatever) was a lot easier on the rears.

BMW are coming, but not until 2012 or 2013 I think.
 
Who know what Toyota/Lexus going to have as their new Super GT 500 car, it could even be the LFA
 
No, the racing concept isnt going to enter the super GT or the DTM.
It used DTM opel vectra from 2004 body for testing purposes only.

Last I heard the LFA is meant to be entering into GT1 World Championship instead of Super GT but Lexus could enter them in both!
