I thought, what would I do different, knowing what I know now? So, I made a new account.

Was gifted the STI as first car. Jumped straight into Circuit Experience. The main car I was waiting to get: the AMG GT GT3.

It surfaced in the roulette, but I didn't get it. No matter. Made sure not to buy anything until I got more than enough Cr.

After 4mil Cr. and no AMG resurfacing, I bought one. Only other items I bought, were select wheels and stickers. I missed out on the gold as ME just changed over in the evening.

My main mission,is to just be a GT3 racer with this account. It's the most used series in the game, with the content we have. May seem weird, but if I had 3.5mil in (my real)account and bought a GT3 car, that's pretty much what I'd do.

Anyone else restart the game or made more than one account, to take advantage of their experience?

If I read your post it doest not seem you take advantage of your experience. You could just use your normal account and only race Gr 3. Or maybe I am not understanding you.

If I would create a new account I would make advantage of my experience by knowing what cars to buy and use to get as much credits in as short time as possible instead of trying to buy all cars. Knowing what circuits I am good at and which ones not. Which sport modes to enter for gaining DR and which one to avoid.

Those kind of things ?

Yes, that's your experience. Sharing what you would do for you.

I've only bought the AMG GT GT3. That's the car I wanted. I just did the Circuit Missions. I didn't buy an X-Bow to do the 12minute easy Cr race.

So far, I have been gifted cars by doing the Circuit Experience. Again, I haven't been buying all cars. I just wanted one. Circuit Experience doesn't take long. I think it took me an hour(?) to get 4million. That's easy money. That's the knowledge I used.

It seems like a lot of effort to do what you could already do on your main account and the experience you've gained from your main account won't be any different on a new account either.

Trying to justify a smurf account maybe?:p

I deleted my gamesave a month or so ago for a fresh start and to try and rekindle my interest in the game. I wanted to redo the campaign challenges with my wheel since all the times I did on my DS4 got deleted a long time ago.

Sometimes a fresh start is a nice change of pace, I didn't lose my DR and SR ratings though which was nice.

I mean you could try playing it traditionally through GT league . PD done F'd that up tho . The GT league should be going from Slower cars to faster cars but it has no reason . The first race should be a karting then you move up to small hot hatches ~> Sports cars ( FF / FR / 4WD/ MR ) Then after winning that you unlock the Sunday Cup . Win that and unlock the next set of races Which includes The Japan / America / France / Engine specific races . Then the Clubman cup . Once you get to professional you get access to Gr 4 / High powered sports/ exotic cars . Then after that you get to drive GR 1/2/3 .

That being said I'd much rather PD expands mission races . GT league is lameee.

I would like to do something like this. Just use one car all the time[or one manufacturer] and only race with that. But a strong motivation for that would be tuning my car. Tune it and test it relentlessly, just the way I like, tune it to perfection. Make a flawless tune for each track. Get 110% out of the car.

But no. Right now I have to drive a car that was tuned for somebody else, a general tune, or not even tuned at all.

Its true. First time I was nervous, didnt know what I was doing and it was all over far too soon. I wasnt sure what actually happened so I bailed after the first attempt.

Second time I had much more realistic expectation, eased myself into it and had much more fun once things started getting more intense.

Oh **** sorry you were asking about GTSport. I was like a boss from the start with that.

Just sign the manufacturers contract with Mercedes and you can start your "GT3 racer career" right from the first km. 👍

I only have the one car on my account. I "own" it, if you will. I don't have any other cars, not even the gift cars in my garage. I'm already doing what i want to do. What would you do for you?
See the posts below.

I'm all for them expanding mission challenges... just let me us my garage cars.... I know what weapon I own that I'm good at.

No need to force me to use rentals.

I think a hallmark of good game design is that you dont think you do it again... doing it better, knowing what you now know (horrible sentence I know).

I think PD generally do this ok... but even so I'm not doing gold on Horse Thief or Streets of Willow or what not again.

Just the opposite actually. Not buy anything, not do campaign at all, just work with what you get from the daily workout lottery for racing online.

I have an Excel file which is doing nothing else than picking random Gr. 1/2/3/4 cars for me and my buddy when we are racing in a lobby. I have thought about doing the same with the manufacturer's challenge on a second account, sign contract for a random manufacturer each week and work with what you get. Unfortunately, this was more suited to the weekly test seasons.

Just reinstalled my primary account and starting from scratch. My other account is doing well with just the one car. So, I'm going to only use cars I'm gifted.

This time, I'm not doing FIA races. For me, those races are redundant while Daily Races are available. Also, the FIA races nearly mimic the same events as the Dailys. Just with the benefit of Free Practice and all in qualifying(which is way better than the Dailys). However, the FIA race, can only be run once.

I've only had the game for about a month, & it's been a bloody awful experience so far. I did start having some fun with it when I gave up my wheel & began using the controller, but the piss poor game design is really starting to grate on me now. I wouldn't want to go through it a second time.

I entered the game on my brother's account since he will never use it because he is not into racing. Tried to spice things up by only using the cars gifted to me by the game and cockpit view and no assists and little practice.

Gr4 on lago magiore was the daily C that day. Had the megane FF gifted to me so that is what I went in. Did quite well even won a few races. But got bored of it after a few days.

What I've done now is, deleted all my cars and started collecting cars the same or equivalent to the ones, in the original GT.

Aston Martin
DB11*

Chevrolet
Camaro SS
Corvette C7
Stingray '69

Dodge
Viper GTS' 02

- according to GT history, the DB11 stems from the DB9. The Vantage isn't a DB model. So, I chose the DB11 as the equivalent

- Racing Modification equivalent

Well, I started a new game again. This time, to just use cars that were in GT1.

So, all I did were the circuit Experience and the Sport Mode videos. 5,418,300Cr and 31 prize cars later, I have a basic garage of cars.
The Daily reward gave me the Emil Frey RC F Prototype. Also got the '17 racing version later.
Was gifted the Copen VGT and B.A.T 1- cars I never got gifted before. As for the cars from the original GT, I got the R33, Supra RZ, 300ZX, C3(close enough) and RX-7 FD (close enough as well).

Flipped through the other cars and noticed the R18 reads "(Le Mans '11)".
Oh snap!

Guess I won't be starting a new game....ever.
