is GT5 and POKEMON alike (read OP 1st)

i love both games but i think i see some similarities
*your goal is to get all CARS/POKEMON
*you level up pokemon while GT5 levels up B spec drivers
*u can hold up to six pokemon/B spec driver
*your other goal is to reach the top (pokemon league/ DREAM CAR CHAMPIONSHIP(N24 for some ppl))
what do you think.
