I have never owned a Gran Turismo game. I have played GT4 before, a couple years ago, and it was great. I have also played the demo for GT5, and I love it.
I have fully researched the game and am really excited about it.
I can't seem to go a day without watching a couple dozen videos about it, re-reading reviews, and going to gtplanet.
However, I don't have a PS3, and I'm not really willing to pay a lot to get a new one. I've looked on craigslist and found some PS3's for $140-$200, and I'm interested in them, but what do you guys think about it?
I'm not just interested in GT5, I'm also interested in SHIFT, and some others, so I'm not just getting a PS3 for GT5, though it is really the BIGGEST reason I'm getting a PS3.
If I did get a PS3, It would probably set me back:
PS3:$160 (used)
GT5:$55-$60
Driving Force GT??????:$100
I have all the money, but am not sure if its definitely worth it, due to the mixed feelings I've seen by fans (some LOVE this game, like I expect to, and others HATE it and think Polyphony Digital wasted 6 years, which I definitely don't agree with, however I don't own the game!)
Please help me decide what to do!
