It might seem a stupid question but is the game honestly worth buying? I have bought every version of GT on launch day but still not got 6 . For some reason my love of the game seems to have gone, will GT6 win me back over or is it just a rehash of 5?
Considering the GT5 servers are being shutdown in the next few months, if you want to continue to play any Gran Turismo multiplayer online, you'll have to buy GT6.
I had the exact same problem. I've also bought & played every version of GT but i got so bored of GT5 that i stopped playing it early 2013. I decided not to buy GT6 on release date & waited to see if i got it as a Christmas present (which i did) The engine sounds & it being too similar to GT5 were the main reason's why i didn't buy it.
Now i have it i'm glad i got it as i've been enjoying playing it so far. What i've done is not play it too much so i don't get bored too quickly. It does feel like a different game & knowing that PD are working on the sounds is a big bonus so i would say yes go buy it.
I am glad I did. New tracks and cars alone are worth it. If you do get it, make sure to get the anniversary edition.
I got it today at GameStop. The extra cars are pretty cool. Also make sure you do the seasonal for the Hudson and BMW. Bronze or better wins that car.Finally go to Vision GT > Mercedes and get that free car, you wont be disappointed

I was in the same boat as you: after playing the GT6 demo that came out last year I really didn't think it was that much better than GT5. Almost didn't buy it. After spending 3 weeks playing GT6 now I am very happy that I bought it. The new tracks are the main drawcard, but there's just a host of tiny improvements that really make a difference. Suspension and tyres feel better. Graphics look better. Time changes and night races omg, they look great.
The #1 reason, IMO to buy it is Mt Panorama. It's my favourite track now

Please explain this. I think i have gotten my $60 worth many times over already. I can agree with some people being upset that we didn't get more. I also don't believe your statement is true.
The GT6 driving experience is about 20-30% better than GT5 (an updates worth of change)
Worth the money?.....NO
Worth the money to a loyal fan?.....YES
GT6 does have a FEW more cars and tracks....does it make a huge diff?....honestly....Not really.

It all depends on what you're into in GT games. The only thing that I really like about GT6 is the new physics model, & driving certain cars on The Ring 24 hour for fun. The coming updates will add new features, & hopefully fix a few glitches too.

Read his "cough" review in the feedback section and you will understand that his rant is not based in reality and that he seems to think we are being forced to buy DLCs and credits via microtransaction. Of course, if he was still progressing through the game, he would realise his views are, well, completely wrong.
You seem profoundly unhappy. It's only a game. Everyone's trying their best, you, me, even PD....enjoy your self.
