I'm planning to go to NY next april. I've compared the prices of iPad air/mini with retina display between the 2 countries and found US counterparts to be more cheaper. I've read around TripAdvisor whether if I can claim tax like in EU when I buy something but I found about "Sales Tax" where you can't claim back the tax. On the article, it stated that:
For example a bottle of wine will retail for $50. The local tax on alcohol is 20%. 20% of $50 is $10. This means that $10 will be added to the price of the bottle of wine, $50, to cover the tax and the total sum that must be paid is actually $60
Can anyone from the US tell me how much do I actually have to pay for the iPad?
Thanks
