Is it just me or are the sounds updated?

I know this is probably not the first time someone has asked, but i have noticed sound improvements here and there. For example the E55 AMG sounds nice actually. Was it like that or have the sounds undergone a redoing?
 
Some have here and there I believe. I think it's hotfixes they do. Maybe testing out the new sound engineer.

Edit: I don't know if it is confirmed or not though
 
Some have, some haven't. PD are getting much better with their sounds; the 97T and the VGT's after the Subaru are good examples.



Now, we wait for the PCars fanboys to come here to criticize everything about this game...again.

I think so aswell, so far i have only tested the E55 and the 70's Challenger. They sound really nice, with a low grunt that is characteristic to most of the muscle cars. I am going to test the examples you gave me to see if i notice anything.
