Is it just me, or what?

I don't know wheather it's just me, or GTPlanet has totally screwed up. I logged in earlier today, and everything was fine. I logged off and went and done something else. I logged into GTPlanet again and it has been really weird.

The new posts don't get counted - the New Posts page hasn't changed once in about an hour now. When I go to post, 50% of the time it displays a page that says GTPlanet has causes a database error or something along those lines.

Finally, have a look below:

In this thread, it says Spuds is the last poster and that there is 3 posts in that thread.

I click on the little arrow which takes me to the last posts. Turns out that DODGE the VIPER was the last poster and there is actually 6 posts.

It's not just this thread, it's been happening in heaps of threads.

I think you better go through and sort out all your vBulletin coding J.

same here, a thread sand strom has in the rumble strip has like 15 or so odd post but it says no replies.

That happens due to database errors that occur when the server is stressed. There are related databases for both the posts themselves and for the indices. If the server times out between the time that the post gets logged and the index gets updated, you get that glitch.

This stuff should ease up a little when we get on the new box. But honestly, it's part of the problem when you go from 5,000 to 15,000 members in a year or so.
