Sonic the hedgehog's physical design is heavily based off of Mickey Mouse?

I for my entire life never thought of this until out of the blue a few minutes ago... I mean look at the two!

Didnt vote in pole because of poor options.

I can definantly see a similarity in stance which would leave me to believe a similar template would have been used when designing Sonic. I really dont believe its intentional.
