Is it more difficult to get all GOLD on the special events in 1.06?

I still haven't gone and updated my game yet.

I'm just wondering if I should run in offline mode and complete the special events on gold and some harder before updating?

In th new update changelog it says

"More Penalties for Special Events
Penalties for improper driving such as driving off course and hitting walls have been increased for the [Special Events] under [GT Mode] - [GT Life]."
 
I have to admit that I could gold first and second round of the Flight Academy only by heavily cutting some corners... And there are still seven races to go :sick:

Thanks for the input. But my defition of proper to yours is different :)

I consider corner cutting part of proper driving lol.

So I want to know if the new patch has made golding these events harder?

Are the gold times still the same?

The brozne times for the X1 challange were changed

Faster or slower ?
 
Bronze times have been set slower, so it will be easier to win the X2010

Flight Academy?
 
I thought it is called Mercedes Benz Flight Academy in the Specials
In Germany it is "Fahrschule" => Driving school

Mine says AMG race Academie (dutch)...
