I just acquired a set of T3PA-Pro pedals to go alongside my T300RS wheel and TH8A shifter. While I'm absolutely loving the immersion, I still need some practice with my heel-toe technique; in other words, I'm a bit slow for the time being and restricted to hot-lapping until I get better.

Since the pedals are a bit of a beast and not quickly swappable with the standard 2-pedal setup, is there an option in GT (or on the T300 base) to temporarily disable the clutch?

At least with a G25 it's as simple as not using the clutch - if you don't use it at all during the ongoing session you can shift without it but still utilize the H pattern, but depress it once and you'll have to do so for the rest of the driving session. It may well be that the T300RS acts differently, though.

Typically, you can "disable" the clutch by hitting the paddle once to shift. At least it does with my Fanatec in GT6.
I'll have to try that with the these pedals. On my 2-pedal setup it would also disable the gated shifter (not very realistic having that without the clutch, but still fun).

You can also use H pattern without the clutch - I sometimes did this on GT5 with the Chaparral 2J and 2D to simulate driving those cars more accurately as they had torque converters (no clutch), but still had manually shifted gears (as far as I know). I expect this still works on GT6.

So it turns out that with a 3-pedal setup, activating the paddle shifter allows you to bypass the clutch and continue to use the gated shifter.
