Hi,

Heres the thing, I am trying to obtain a RED Alfa Romeo Guilia Sprint Speciale, obviously you can't drive an Alfa that isnt red :)

You can win this car by winning the "1000 miles" race in the european hall, I have now won this 3 times, thats 24 hours of game time :nervous: , and everytime I win the Alfa in BLUE, what use is a BLUE Alfa?

Has anyone won a red one?, is it possible?, according to the Arcade mode it comes in 3 colours, blue, silver and red, but I can never win a red one 👎

Dan.

I got a red one...only done it once. No tips on how to get it, sorry. Are you keeping your blue ones or selling them before you do the race again? Maybe if you have the color already they'll take pity and give you a different one. I dunno.

Hi I'm currently A-specing this series I want a red one too. What I did in Gt3 to get the car I wanted was to save before the last race in the series and if I didin't get the car I want just reset my ps2 and try again, will do the same in this series too. Should get the right colour quite quickly if you quit out the last race and don't mind damaging your win ratio. Have to make sure autosave is off incase it saves when you get the prize car.

Is there an equivalant save/load trick in GT4? I've never tried to figure one out before.
Don't know what to tell you about prize car colours, it's just luck.
I saw a thread where someone was complaining about not being able to find a blue Sil80 in the used car lot, someone else told them you'd get a blue one for winning the Silvia Sisters race.
So I did. Mine's yellow.

While we're at it, is there any way to get the pace car? :p

You win the pace car from Real Circuit tours in Extreme Hall.

EmoHawk yes the save/load trick does work the same way in GT4 I just did it. I saved at the end of the Monaco race in the 1000 mile race series then started and then exited the final race got the prize car (as it turned it was red after all) then I reset my ps2 and was back at the end of the third race when it loaded up. All you have to do is turn off the autosave in the options menu.

Make sure you remeber save manually tho when autosave is off. I remember in GT3 finishing the grandvalley 300 and forgetting to save before I turned my ps2 off!!!

Wouldn't it be awesome if you could pick what color car you wanted? It would save hours of racing time done by us for just a specific color of prize car. Maybe thats what B-Spec'n is really for? lol

It's been explained in the thread about cars you want, but can't find. All you need to win "1000 Miles!" is a PRODUCTION CAR no older than 1970. When I redo 1000 Miles!, I'm going to use the Toyota 2000GT. Though it costs 160K Cr., it's actually more nimble than the last car I used, the Jaguar XKE. Do you like that Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Special, Dan Watkins? This is the way you're going to get it. Now be warned. Races in this series may last no less than 3 hours. So if you can't take it, or fear you will not win outright, try it out in B-Spec. A-Spec or B-Spec, as long as you win the race, because that's what is important.

As far as that Nissan Skyline Pace Car goes, when you get that thing, take it to Special Condition races. It's a blast around tracks like Costa di Amalfi (my favorite)! Not to mention you can still modify the car. You can't give it a new rear wing, but for what you can do, it's perhaps the most fun you'll ever have in a GT game. Just win all the races in Real Circuit Tours. It won't be easy, but the reward is sensational.

Now to both of you, go make it happen!

Love that Sprint Speciale, its just a shame that you have to put 8 hours into the game to get one, and then you are not sure if you will get a red one or not, and a non-red Alfa is NOT an option 👍

Then too, Alfa Romeo has their own signature red color, much like (another Italian car company). I kind of like all Alfa Romeos in Alfa Rosso, or for many of us others, Alfa Red. But you put in so much work for one big prize. Just like all three 24 Hour races in GT4. It has to be done, but still. Not a cakewalk.

That Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Special? She's a beautiful lady. She has a cute sister as well, the Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto. Great handling machine too.

So many cars and you do 3 times the same race for the same car :p

I've never ever seen a real life Guilia or Guilietta SS that wasn't red... I don't think. No, maybe I have. But it MUST be red. I did the GTA series three times to get a red Guilia GTA - kept getting white ones. Also, keeping the wrong colour car in your garage doesn't seem to help. I've been trying to win a red Turbo Esprit HC in the Beginner MR races so that I have a complete set of one white one, one red one and one black one. But despite having 1 white one and more black ones than Lotus ever actually produced sitting in my garage (a slight exaggeration) I keep winning black ones. Perhaps the rest of you all won red ones and by the time I won that series, they were all out of stock? :dopey:
